Albert Mann Pinot Noir Les Saintes Claires 2020

Quiet and introverted right now, with dark cherry and forest floor just beginning to surface. The palate is where it opens up — bright, salivating acidity cuts through darker fruit, while fine, coating tannins give it real structure and grip. The finish is cool, salty and remarkably fresh. From a limestone hillside parcel tucked between Altenbourg and Grand Cru Mambourg, once farmed by Clarisse-Capuchin sisters, the wine was made with over 50% whole bunches and aged 18 months in half new oak. Needs time to fully emerge.
