Albert Mann Pinot Noir Grand H 2020

8.1
WineSaint
Deep clay over marly limestone, vines pushing 60 years old, and 50% whole bunches, the Hengst grand cru pedigree shows. Dark cherry and iron-tinged florals open with quiet intensity. The palate is concentrated and driven, with dense tannins that stay elegant despite the wine's considerable weight. The 2020 heat never compromises freshness, the finish is bright and clean. Needs time, but the bones are exceptional. Drink 2027–2038.
