Dried honey, dandelion and quince lift cleanly off the glass, brightening with a few minutes of air into something genuinely pretty. On the palate, a waxy, almost lanolin-like texture greets first, then settles into a well-proportioned mid-palate with more depth than the Villages designation typically delivers. The finish turns slightly pithy — peach skin and a faint citrus pith edge — giving it a pleasing grip. Excellent for what it is.
