Apricot preserves, tangerine zest, brown butter and a cool mint edge. This is Heintz doing what it does best, that signature waxy, almost lanolin-like texture carrying the wine through a palate that's lush without being loose. Saline and citrus pith run underneath, keeping the tropical drift honest and the finish from going soft. Rich Sonoma Coast Chardonnay with enough tension to age gracefully.
