Rich and textured, with honeyed stone fruit and wet limestone threading through layers of brioche and hazelnut. The extended lees work shows beautifully, adding weight and complexity without masking the sandstone minerality that defines these former abbey sites. Impressive substance, though the elevated alcohol creates some heat on the finish that keeps this from complete harmony.
