Silky tannins and gorgeous aromatics showcase the Southern Valleys' clay-loess terroir beautifully. Dark cherry mingles with violet and chocolate notes, while savory herbs add complexity. The structure is excellent, though I wanted more length on the finish. A compelling expression of Marlborough's serious Pinot potential.
