Candied citrus peel, apricot preserve and white blossom with a tropical undercurrent — exotic and richly layered. There's real density here, but the wine shuts down fast in the glass, hinting at a long road ahead. Give it time; the depth and freshness are both clearly present, just not yet reconciled. A serious Rangen.
