Harvested last from the mid and upper Triassic sandstone slopes of Pfingstberg, this 2018 shows golden apple, dried citrus peel and warm stone on a richly fragrant nose. The palate is concentrated and alive with acidity, ripeness perfectly counterbalanced, before the finish deepens and quiets, not fading so much as settling, bone-dry and profound.
