The Sadie Family Wines Skerpioen 2018

A field blend of Chenin Blanc and Palomino from Swartland. White flowers, honeysuckle and dried apricot open up with time in the glass, gaining detail as they breathe. On the palate, there's a taut freshness and a saline minerality that runs clean and linear to the finish, though it tapers a touch earlier than the wine's ambition suggests. Very fine drinking nonetheless.
