Volcanic minerality drives this brooding, concentrated Cabernet from Mount Veeder's rocky slopes. Dense black fruit, tobacco leaf, crushed granite and forest floor create layers that unfold slowly in the glass. The structure is commanding. Firm tannins and bright acidity promise graceful evolution. Needs a decade minimum. Drink 2030-2050.
