Il Marroneto Rosso di Montalcino Ignaccio 2018

Wild cherry and violet florals burst from the glass, backed by forest floor earthiness and warm spice. The texture is remarkably polished for a Rosso, with ripe tannins that frame rather than dominate. Alessandro Mori's barrel selection from Brunello-destined fruit shows in the wine's impressive depth and complexity. Drinking beautifully now but has the structure to reward patience.
