Crushed slate and white peach pit open the nose, threaded through with cool peppermint and a clean citrus lift. Striking concentration on the palate, the wine's bright, cutting acidity keeps any residual sweetness firmly in check, landing closer to bone-dry than the sugar levels would suggest. From the ascending Grafschafter Sonnenberg site in Veldenz, the stone-driven character is unmistakable, carrying through to a long, chiseled finish. Drink now through 2030.
