Foradori Teroldego 2018
An ideal entry point into Foradori, and one that punches well above its station. Wild berry, cracked pepper, violet, and wet stone come together with a clarity that's characteristic of the estate's lighter-vine fruit. The texture is silky without being insubstantial — cool-toned red fruits and mineral lift carry things forward, while a touch of round tannin adds just enough grip to keep it honest. Floral notes persist through the finish, where bright acidity provides a clean, invigorating snap. Beautifully composed today, and capable of rewarding patience over the medium term in a cold cellar.
Foradori
→Foradori is the standard-bearer for Teroldego, the red grape native to Trentino's Campo Rotaliano plain, with Elisabetta Foradori also championing Nosiola and the rare Manzoni Bianco from her Fontanasanta holdings.
