Dark, layered, and alive with energy, this Trousseau from the 0.5-hectare Beranger parcel, sourced from Jacques Puffeney and now in Guillaume d'Angerville's hands, is a singular thing. Black cherry, scorched earth, leather and licorice unfold with real intensity, yet the wine never loses its freshness. That tension between depth and vibrancy is what sets it apart. Give it a few years to fully open up. Offered only in magnum, hard to find, worth every effort.
