Ceritas Pinot Noir Senna 2018

Swan Clone Pinot from the DuMOL estate, and it shows, this is pure, open-knit fruit without a hard edge in sight. Fresh cherry, crushed raspberry, a touch of dried violet and a faint undercurrent of warm earth. Mid-weight and pliant, it sits closer to the graceful end of the 2018 Sonoma Coast spectrum than the structured, and that's entirely the point. What it lacks in density it more than compensates for with balance, everything here is in its right place. Accessible now and built for pleasure rather than patience.
