Ninety percent Chenin Blanc with ten percent Sémillon, whole-cluster-pressed, raised in used oak with no SO2. Dried honey, honeysuckle, yellow blossom and lanolin on the nose, composed and immediately inviting. A lightly oily texture carries through the mid-palate, held in check by a fine, precise line of acidity and a touch of spice near the close. Harmonious and unhurried, this vintage feels effortless rather than constructed. Should age with real grace.
