Wild and deeply perfumed from the first pour, dried roses, blood orange, cinnamon bark and star anise, with a core of sweet red fruit threaded through by dried herbs. Rich yet austere in the true Roagna tradition, the tannins are firm and finely grained without a rough edge in sight. This is old-vine Nebbiolo showing considerable depth and composure, the kind of wine that rewards patience. Drink 2026–2040.
