Oddero Barolo Villero 2017

Villero in 2017 is all about finesse over force, a side of this notoriously muscular cru that doesn't always show itself. Sweet cherry, crushed raspberry, rose petal, orange zest and cinnamon unfold with genuine aromatic grace. The body sits at medium weight, the tannins finely drawn and unhurried, the acidity doing quiet, steady work underneath. Oddero has caught the vineyard in a rare moment of poise. Drink 2024–2035.
