Oddero Barolo 2017

One of the more graceful straight Barolos in this warm, challenging vintage. Dried rose petals, crushed raspberry, fresh mint and a dusting of cinnamon rise from the glass with real immediacy — transparent and expressive from the first pour. The body is medium and the tannins fine-grained, with enough lift to keep everything feeling nimble rather than heavy. A finessed, pretty Barolo that stands apart from the more extracted wines of the year.
