Vivid violet in the glass, with black raspberry, crushed flowers and a thread of smoke lifting off immediately. The palate is juicy and precise, red and dark berry fruit with real grip and mineral cut underneath. Licorice and floral pastille open up with air, and the finish holds on with surprising length. Punches well above its appellation.
