Blackberry, violet and wild herbs rise from the glass with real presence. The fruit is sweet-edged and concentrated, blue and red tones layered with spice cake, floral pastille and a streak of licorice. Mineral smoke runs underneath, keeping things grounded. Taut and focused on the finish, with well-judged tannins and impressive length.
