Comando G Rozas 1er Cru 2017

Old-vine Garnacha from Rozas de Puerto Real, grown on the granitic soils of Sierra de Gredos. Raspberry, sour cherry and dried rose petals lead on the nose, threaded with incense and a dusting of warm spice. There's real juice and vitality to this wine — juicy red fruit and floral pastille carry through a mid-palate that picks up spice cake and a gentle herbal lift. Tannins are fine and well-integrated, and the finish is brisk and spiced, looping back to fruit and flowers with genuine persistence.
