Brovia Barolo Villero 2017

Barolo, Italy

WineSaint
Dense and muscular, with blackberry and plum wrapped in gripping tannins. Tobacco, tar and dried herbs add complexity, but the wine feels tight and angular today. The fruit concentration is impressive, yet there's a hardness that may or may not resolve with time. Classic Villero power, though it currently lacks the harmony that elevates great Barolo.
