Pingus Flor de Pingus 2016

Dark cherry, violet, woodsmoke and a lift of blueberry on the nose, more expressive and complex than you'd expect from a second wine. In the mouth it's focused and clean, with bitter cherry and floral tones riding on tangy acidity and a firm mineral spine. Tannins grip just enough to give shape without stiffening the texture. The finish is long and purposeful, florality trailing after the fruit has gone.
