Dark and brooding, this Gallina needs patience. Black cherry, iron-flecked earth, menthol and licorice move through the glass with a balsamic intensity that marks the more austere face of Nebbiolo. The tannins are firm and unyielding, the structure built for the long haul rather than near-term pleasure. Drink 2026–2040.
