Paolo Bea Rosso de Veo 2016

Montefalco Sagrantino, Italy

WineSaint
Brooding and muscular with concentrated dark fruit, graphite and smoky herbs. The structure is formidable. Dense tannins and cutting acidity create an almost austere frame around the wine's substantial core. Wild cherry and violet emerge slowly, but this remains tightly wound and backward. Needs 5-7 years to integrate and show its full potential.
