Mullineux Syrah Granite 2016

Darker-fruited than the 2015, with a more pronounced floral lift on the nose, violets and blue fruit over blackberry, tobacco and a cool graphite edge. Medium-bodied, with supple tannins and a fine thread of acidity keeping everything in line through the spicy finish. A step up from its predecessor, and genuinely promising.
