Dark violet, blue at the rim. Black cherry, boysenberry and vanilla up front, with smoke, crushed stone and violet lifting through as it opens. Rich and generous in the mouth, yet kept honest by firm acidity and tightly-knit tannins that give grip without weight. Dark fruit liqueur, spice cake and floral pastille carry through to a clean, lingering finish with sweet berry and warm spice. Drink now through 2032.
