Near-opaque in the glass, with a core of dark violet that barely lets light through. Black cherry, cassis and vanilla come forward immediately, pure and focused, before smoky mineral tones and violet florals emerge with air. Seamlessly textured and generous across the mid-palate — dark fruit liqueur, spiced cake and that floral thread persist all the way through. Finishes long and honest, with fine-grained tannins, sweet berry fruit and just enough grip to give the whole thing backbone.
