F.X. Pichler Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Loibner 2016

7.1
WineSaint
Worth noting that this wine was long sold under the Frauenweingarten name — a Grosslage designation covering multiple individual sites — until that labeling convention was phased out across the Wachau. At a trim 11.8% alcohol, it carries itself with genuine lightness: the nose is floral and meadow-fresh, with apple blossom and green herbs drifting alongside crisp green apple and snap pea. On the palate it's glossy and fluid, with juicy primary fruit doing most of the talking. White pepper arrives on the finish, adding just enough bite to keep things lively without disrupting the wine's easy, refreshing charm.
