Kellerberg announces itself with characteristic authority, smoky tea leaf, quarry dust and flint rising from the glass before citrus takes hold. Lime pith and blood orange sharpen the nose, then carry through on the palate as a vivid, mouthwatering juiciness. Almond skin and bitter peach kernel weave in toward the finish, lending a bittersweet complexity that extends the wine's already impressive length. The close is bracingly saline with a limpid, stony quality that's pure Kellerberg. Drink now through 2035.
