Blackberry and pepper emerge on the nose, but the wine feels hollow through the center. Astringent tannins dominate without sufficient fruit to balance. The Fort Ross-Seaview site should deliver more concentration and depth than this compressed effort shows. May improve with time, but the structure feels fundamentally flawed.
