Fresh cherry, clove, cedar and a lift of rose petal — this is Quintarelli's lighter register, and it's disarming in the best way. A touch of sea salt and sweet spice give the mid-palate real character without weighing it down. The structure is gentle, almost gossamer, with a finely perfumed finish that trails off on a clean mineral note. For a warm year, 2015 shows surprising finesse here — nothing overripe, nothing forced.
