Mullineux Syrah Schist Roundstone 2015

Raspberry and mulberry on the nose, with rose petal and a sous-bois quality that opens up given air. On the palate, the fruit is dark and sappy, blackberry and crushed briar, with a saline, almost briny edge that sets it apart. Medium-bodied with a firm, grippy finish that signals this wine still has some tightening up to do. Give it another two to three years.
