Deep violet in the glass, with an inviting nose of blueberry, black raspberry, spice cake and floral pastille, lifted by threads of olive paste and tobacco. Polished and focused through the mid-palate, where the fruit sits in a gently sweet register and takes on a smoky, mineral edge with air. Fine-grained tannins carry a juicy, lingering finish with a pleasing hum of spice.
