Stella di Campalto Rosso di Montalcino 2013

Hard to hold back from this one. The 2013 Rosso di Montalcino is vivid and direct — rose petal, fresh raspberry, a touch of mint and crushed red berry fruit that pulses with energy from start to finish. Lighter in frame than many Rossos but no less serious for it; there's a brightness and precision here that makes it feel almost aerial. The finish is aromatic and clean, with the fruit lingering longer than the wine's approachable nature might suggest. Drink now through 2026.
