Pora doesn't always show up like this. In 2013 it arrives with unexpected density and weight, dark cherry, dried rose, iron-flecked earth and a touch of tar, all wrapped in a texture that's almost plush by Nebbiolo standards. The tannins are there, firm but absorbed into the fruit, which keeps building in the glass rather than fading. Brooding and concentrated where this vineyard can sometimes read as delicate, it's a standout edition by any measure. Drink well now through 2045.
