Pingus 2013

A lighter, more perfumed Pingus than most vintages, with cherry, raspberry, dried rose and a lift of Asian spice giving it an almost Burgundian grace. Tannins are fine and supple, they give shape rather than grip, and the wine breathes open with air, the fruit turning sweeter and more generous as it does. Silky through to a finish of candied rose and berry preserve. Drink now through 2030.
