Pingus Flor de Pingus 2013

Vivid raspberry and dried rose lead the nose, with incense, pastille and a dusting of warm spice giving it a distinctly floral, almost perfumed character. Concentrated red fruit and flower on entry, carried along by bright, tangy acidity that keeps everything lifted and focused. The tannins are firm and youthful — they grip through the finish and aren't going anywhere soon. This needs patience. Drink 2020–2028.
