Saturated blackberry and damson liqueur flood the palate, shot through with licorice root and crushed violets. The texture is plush, almost glycerol-like, carrying waves of Christmas spice and white pepper. Fine-grained tannins emerge late, providing just enough grip without disrupting the hedonistic flow. This is Heathcote Shiraz at its most exuberant. Ripe, spiced, and built to evolve over decades.
