Quintarelli Amarone 2012

Quintarelli's 2012 opens with something you don't often find in Amarone — genuine freshness and floral lift. Sour cherry and dried rose lead, threaded with sweet spice, cedar and a trace of mint. For all its textural depth, the wine stays precise: pure red fruit, a bright herbal edge, and acidity that cuts cleanly through the concentration. The structure builds quietly, almost imperceptibly, arriving fully only at the finish. It tapers long and perfumed, hinting at considerably more to come with time in the cellar. Drink 2026–2045.
