Vigna Rionda wearing its decade of age beautifully. Lavender, dried rose, blood orange, star anise and a thread of iron-tinged earth — the vineyard's signature perfume comes through with real clarity. This is Barolo in a seductive register: less about structural might than pure aromatic charm, and it delivers on that front with considerable grace. The tannins retain enough grip and the acidity enough drive to support another 15–20 years in the cellar, so there's no urgency here. The finish is long and classically austere, a pleasure for those who appreciate the traditional Piedmontese idiom. Drink now through 2035 or beyond.
