Gentle and approachable, showing honeyed chamomile, toasted hazelnuts and hints of red berry fruit. The barrel fermentation and 19-month oak élevage contribute texture but also create a slightly hollow mid-palate. Pleasant enough, though it lacks the depth and persistence found in Laherte's stronger offerings.
