Dark cherry and redcurrant lead, backed by bitter chocolate, candied rose, and a slow-emerging thread of smoke. Structured and focused, with acidity that keeps everything lifted and precise — this is a wine with real backbone. Tannins firm up toward the finish, silky in texture but with enough grip to demand patience, and a peppery, spiced tail that lingers well past the last sip. Decant generously; it's wound tight and hasn't shown its full hand yet.
