Luscious apricot, candied citrus and baking spice cascade across the palate with impressive depth. The acidity cuts cleanly through the richness, providing lovely tension and drive. While it shows beautiful concentration and aromatic complexity, it doesn't quite reach the crystalline intensity of Yquem's legendary years. Still, this is gorgeous Sauternes built for the long haul.
