Foradori Granato Teroldego 2010

Vivid and aromatic from the first pour, red cherry, crushed violet, and a lifted floral intensity that speaks to Teroldego at its most expressive. The tannins are fine-grained and almost silken, framing the fruit without imposing on it. Elisabetta Foradori aged this in roughly two-thirds cask and one-third neutral French oak, a choice that keeps the wine svelte and perfumed rather than heavy. There's a slight tension at the core that signals more to come; another two to three years will loosen it further. A standout from a confident evolution toward finesse.

Foradori

Foradori is the standard-bearer for Teroldego, the red grape native to Trentino's Campo Rotaliano plain, with Elisabetta Foradori also championing Nosiola and the rare Manzoni Bianco from her Fontanasanta holdings.
