Burnt orange hue with a faintly bronzed rim. Dried cranberry, blood orange pith, crushed raspberry and a thread of dried rose come off the nose with real clarity. Bone-dry on entry, with bracingly high acidity pulling tart red cherry and pomelo through a leaner mid-palate before raspberry flesh and brioche fill things out toward the finish. Long and stony at the close, with the floral notes circling back. Disgorged January 2014.
