This 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon/Franc and Corvina/Corvinone, two years in cask, sits in medium-bodied territory, pliant and juicy with bell pepper and wild herb notes threading through the mid-palate. The finish is long and expressive, carrying licorice and leather well past the swallow. An attractive, easy-drinking Quintarelli that shows the house's sure hand even at this entry level.
