Musky red fruit — strawberry, dried cherry, a touch of tobacco and mocha. Soft-textured and approachable, though the structure is modest for Barolo, with the red fruit flavors lacking real definition or depth. The finish turns dry and slightly harsh, exposing the wine's limits. Decent enough, but this is Nebbiolo playing it small.
