Muga Reserva 2009

Black raspberry, mocha and sweet baking spice up front, with smoke and vanilla, the signature of 24 months in French and American oak, woven through cleanly. Full-bodied and generous, the dark fruit is concentrated but never heavy, cocoa and warm spice coating the mouth without excess. Tannins are ripe and smooth, and a bright red berry note on the finish pulls everything into focus. Traditional Rioja at its most plush and complete.
